Greenslopes Medical Centre was designed with usability at the forefront for both the specialist medical tenants and regular tenants of the centre. With relationships and sustainability at the heart of Wiltshire Stevens Architects design philosophy, Greenslopes Medical Centre accommodates and considers the local community, while providing design solutions that meet the needs of road accessibility, parking with over 200 undercover car parks and while addressing the needs of the neighbouring businesses.
Reflecting Queensland’s subtropical character, the building has a central open-air atrium forming multiple functions of the many users of the building for an informal meeting spot, respite for visitors, lunch spot for staff and informal meeting locations for organisations. The front street elevation offers respite to visitors and staff through the use of diverse materials, landscaping and places to sit rest and recharge. 730 Logan Rd has been designed to cater to a wide range of medial specialists and uses such a medical centre, pharmacy, x-ray centre and cafe, while also housing medical specialist tenancies ranging from a General Practice to a fully functioning Day Surgery Clinic.
